NAVY BASE

Halloween is nearing so obviously people will be transforming their ordinary houses into haunted houses. Well, I took it upon myself to find some houses that are actually haunted or have some sort of creepy backstory. The perfect place to do so was the Navy Base. Not only is the supposed haunted USS Hornet there, but plenty of other seemingly haunted places as well. Before I ventured off to find haunted or frightening houses, I walked around some of the ships on the base and just so happened to find a couple of dumpsters with frightening implications written on them. When I left the ships, I drove around to find any suspicious houses. One house, in particular, caught my eye. Being the easily frightened person that I am, I was extremely nervous to even walk by the windows of the house in broad daylight, scared "something" was going to grab me.  But I sucked it up and even managed to get a couple of photos inside of the house. Needless to say, it was the most frightening thing I have done.

OAKLAND HILLS

With my appeal to venture off, I did exactly that yesterday at my cousins first birthday in the Oakland Hills. The greenery completely sucked me into walking away from the birthday sight and into the camp areas of the woods, bringing my younger brother along. Obviously, it was hard to take exceptionally good photos with my two year old brother running off any chance he could get but i managed to take a couple good photos. The view was amazing from every angle and being in such a serene, peaceful place was refreshing so I hope you all get somewhat of the feeling I did when you see these photos. Enjoy!
